Postgraduate research in Cameroon requires a significant restructure! It is common to find students at Master and PhD levels conducting research that has no significance or better still, add anything to science. As a developing country, I am of the opinion that supervisors in any field of study should lay more emphasis on research topics that will positively impact a societal phenomenon. Research students should be scrupulously followed up to ensure that their topics are relevant and lead to significant outcomes that could move the society forward. What do you think about these perspectives?
